Feature Updates: Change Object, Duplicate Project, and Reorder Scenes

Something new has arrived this month for Assemblr Studio! We've got a few exciting updates—which came from your ideas and requests, so you can assemble your AR projects much faster 😉

Assemblr Studio Updates: March 2023

1. Change Object

Ever wanted to change the objects in our AR templates without having to remove and add them manually?

Our new feature, Change Object, will fasten up the process!

Simply click on an object, and you're going to see the Change Object option on the right side of your screen.

After that, you can click Browse, and find the object that you want to add. Once you're done, the object will be replaced right away!

Note that we can only replace 2D and 3D objects, and you can only replace them with the same type of objects (e.g. 2D and 2D, 3D and 3D).

2. Duplicate Project

Let's say you have a project you have created, and you want to create a new but similar one. Usually, you'll have to create it from zero and follow the original project.

With the new Duplicate Project, you don't have to. do that!

Simply click on an existing project, choose Duplicate, and you'll have a copy of the project.

You can also edit the project and change a few objects inside it—using the Replace Object. That comes in handy a lot, right?

3. Reorder Scenes

This just comes fresh from the oven. Really fresh. Now, you can also reorder scenes inside the project!

This will be a huge advantage if you feel like your scenes are not in the right order while you're creating.

To reorder, you can hold a scene thumbnail, and drag it to the left or right according to the order that you want.
