ImajiNation 2026 Is Here! Registration Opens for Indonesia's National Visual Coding Competition

Have you ever imagined turning your ideas into an interactive experience?

From 3D storytelling and immersive learning simulations to celebrating Indonesia's rich culture or creating solutions for environmental challenges, it can all be brought to life through Visual Coding.

Registration for ImajiNation 2026 is now officially open for students and teachers across Indonesia. Organized by Indonesia's Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen) in collaboration with Assemblr EDU, and supported by Samsung through Samsung for Education, the competition invites participants to create interactive projects using Visual Coding, 3D, and Augmented Reality (AR).

A More Creative Way to Learn Coding

‍More than just a competition, ImajiNation is a platform where students and teachers can learn, create, and demonstrate how technology can be used to develop meaningful, educational, and innovative projects.

The competition also supports the implementation of Indonesia's National Coding and Artificial Intelligence Curriculum, while helping participants strengthen creativity, computational thinking, problem-solving, and digital literacy through hands-on project creation.

Who Can Participate?

ImajiNation 2026 welcomes participants through four competition categories:

• SD Dreamers, for elementary school students (Grades 4–6) who want to transform their imagination into interactive projects.
• SMP Makers, for teams of junior high school students (Grades 7–9), with the opportunity to compete in the exciting Live Battle at the Grand Final.
• SMA/K Visionaries, for senior high school and vocational high school students (Grades 10–12) who are ready to explore digital creativity and use AI as a creative collaborator.
• Edu Innovators, for active teachers who want to develop interactive learning media, AR worksheets, and ready-to-use digital learning resources.

Choose the Creative Quest That Inspires You

After registering, students participants will select one of three Creative Quests as the theme for their project.

• Dream Quest encourages participants to build imaginative worlds and bring limitless ideas to life.
• Eco Quest focuses on environmental issues and sustainability through creative digital solutions.
• Culture Quest celebrates Indonesia's cultural heritage by transforming local stories and traditions into engaging interactive experiences.

Teacher participants are invited to create interactive AR-powered learning resources that are ready for classroom use. Projects may include student worksheets (LKPD), interactive presentation slides, immersive learning projects, or other innovative teaching materials.

Each Creative Quest is designed to inspire participants to express their creativity while developing innovative thinking and digital creation skills.

Hundreds of Millions of Rupiah in Prizes Await!

Beyond the opportunity to showcase their creativity, participants will compete for hundreds of millions of rupiah in prizes, Samsung Galaxy devices, official certificates, and the prestigious title of ImajiNation 2026 National Champion.
