How to Embed Your Assemblr Studio & EDU Projects in Canva, Easy & Fast!

As we released our latest “Embed in Canva” capability, some of you might wonder how to do so. From your imagination, this might appear difficult. But that’s not really the case. With the new feature, you can insert your desired 3D visualizations from Assemblr Studio and Assemblr EDU on your Canva without hassle!

In this article we’re gonna break down all the steps needed for you to embed your Assemblr Studio and Assemblr EDU projects in Canva. Basically it’s as simple as copy and paste, so everyone can easily do it.

How to Embed Assemblr Studio Projects in Canva

1. Open Assemblr Studio on your web browser.

2. Create your Assemblr Studio project.

If you want to create a new one, simply create a new project on Assemblr Studio. However, you can also use any existing projects that you want to embed.

Make sure to set your camera setings on Scene Settings > Set Camera, so your 3D project on Canva will be on a fix display.

3. Publish your Assemblr Studio project.

Once it’s published, don't forget to click the "Embed in Canva" option.

4. Copy the link provided.

On your publishing section, there's a URL provided. You can simply copy the link!

5. Open your Canva project.

FYI, you can embed your Assemblr Studio projects in any of your Canva projects—this could be presentation, poster, invitation, or any other media format.

6. On the Canva editor, paste your Assemblr Studio project’s link.

7. Your embedded Canva project is ready!

Wait for a few seconds, and your Assemblr Studio project will appear on your Canva project immersively.

8. Share your Canva project with everyone.

When you share your Canva project, don't forget to use the view-only mode for this one!

How to Embed Assemblr EDU Topics in Canva

1. Open Assemblr EDU mobile app or web-based Assemblr EDU.

2. Click or tap on the topic that you want to embed.

Once you’ve chosen your topic, you’ll see the Share button around your topic. Just click on it!

3. Choose “Embed in Canva”, and don’t forget to copy your link.

4. Open your Canva presentation, and then paste the link anywhere.

You can adjust the size and position of your topic however you'd like.
